Beautiful new MCU fan art brings an original superhero from Marvel Studios’ What If…? season 2 to life in stunning detail. What If…? season 2 premiered on December 22, 2023, and introduced audiences to more alternate realities and variant characters than ever before. While multiversal characters such as Jeffrey Wright’s enigmatic Watcher, Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter and Benedict Cumberbatch’s villainous Strange Supreme returned from What If…? season 1, Marvel Studios also debuted an MCU original superhero in What If…? season 2, and Kahhori, voiced by Echo’s Devery Jacobs, has become one of the franchise’s most powerful and world-changing new additions.
While What If…?’s animation style did a great job of showcasing Kahhori’s impressive abilities, fan art shared by Uzuri Art has imagined Kahhori in a beautiful new art style. Uzuri Art brings realism to Kahhori, hinting at what the new superhero could look like, should she be brought into the live-action MCU.
In Kahhori’s reality, the Space Stone crashed into a lake in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy in pre-colonial America, creating a portal to another dimension inhabited by Mohawk people imbued with the Tesseract’s abilities. Kahhori quickly masters these powers, and uses her new gifts to bring peace to her world.

Where Could Kahhori Return In The MCU’s Future?
Kahhori hasn’t yet been confirmed to be returning to the MCU, let alone making the move from What If…? into the live-action MCU continuity, though this is entirely possible. Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter already made an appearance in the live-action Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness following her debut in What If…? season 1, so Kahhori could appear in any number of upcoming MCU projects. Indeed, the most likely place for her return would be in Marvel Studios’ upcoming What If…? season 3, though the exact stories set to be told in the highly-anticipated series haven’t yet been revealed.
Deadpool 3’s multiverse storyline could constitute an appearance from Kahhori, though this does seem unlikely. It’s very likely that Kahhori, perhaps alongside a host of other What If…? variants, will make the move to live-action in Phase 6’s Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars. Seeing the return of Kahhori, potentially with Devery Jacobs reprising the role despite portraying Bonnie in Echo, and other What If…? characters in Phase 6’s Avengers crossover projects would be a great way to wrap up the Multiverse Saga, and potentially bring some of these heroes into the MCU’s main continuity for Phase 7 and beyond.
