Mel B, famously known as “Scary Spice,” is teasing exciting news about a musical comeback from the iconic ’90s girl group, Spice Girls.

The iconic pop culture sensations reportedly have more in store, including an eagerly awaited stamp release, to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

The 48-year-old shared insights into the future of the iconic pop group during an interview, promising imminent “good news” that involved all five Spice Girls. When asked about the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion, Mel B did not shy away from stoking the excitement.

The “Wannabe” artist built anticipation as she revealed, “Well, I’ve been saying this forever, but now we’re actually going to be releasing some really good news in about a few weeks that involves all five of us.” 

Mel B described the impending revelation as “the gift that keeps on giving” and assured fans they would be “100 percent satisfied” with the upcoming announcement. The “America’s Got Talent” judge did this while playfully acknowledging that she might get into trouble for sharing the tantalizing details.

However, she noted that managing a reunion came with its challenges, acknowledging the complexity of coordinating the schedules of all five Spice Girls. “There’s five of us and we’ve got five different diaries, and we’re all parents,” she explained to PEOPLE Magazine. 

As fans eagerly await the exciting news, they can find solace in the anticipation that Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, will contribute to the Spice Girls narrative. Back in September, Mel B revealed that her former bandmate would be the creative mind behind her wedding dress.

During a conversation with 2Day FM’s Dave Hughes, Ed Kavalee, and Erin Molan, the actress’ excitement was palpable as she shared her plans for the special day. “Once I get the date, I will go wedding dress shopping. Victoria Beckham wants to make me a dress,” she joyfully declared. 

The singer also shared the dream location for her wedding and disclosed her aspirations to tie the knot at the same place where Princess Diana married King Charles.

In her own words, “Because I have an MBE, I can get married at the same place Princess Diana married Charles. I’m still waiting to hear back from St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. We have put all our forms in, and we are just waiting on them to give us the day.”

For fans eager to relive the magic of the Spice Girls, the U.K.’s Royal Mail has a treat in store. According to Billboard, the mail service is set to release Spice Girls postage stamps later this month to commemorate the iconic group’s 30th anniversary. 

This honor will mark the first time the Royal Mail dedicates an entire stamp issue to a female pop group. The collection, available from January 11, is reported to offer an array of memorabilia, including stamp sets, posters, postcards, and collectibles at varying costs.

For those on a budget, a Spice Girls “First Day” envelope can be acquired for 30p (38c) following the holiday season.

On the other hand, the spotlight of the collection is the exclusive “Spice Girls Gold Stamps Set,” a limited edition featuring stamps layered in 24-carat gold, priced at £149.99 ($190) and limited to 1,000 sets.

The release includes ten main stamps showcasing iconic moments such as the Brit Awards in 1997, featuring Geri Halliwell-Horner as Ginger Spice in her iconic Union Jack dress, and their performance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

An additional five stamps are featured on a miniature sheet, offering individual snapshots from the 1998 photoshoot for the feature film “Spice World.”

The Royal Mail has a history of commemorating legendary musical acts through postage stamps. Previous honorees include The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016, Queen in 2020, Paul McCartney in 2021, The Rolling Stones in 2022, and Iron Maiden in 2023.
