Arsenal will look to extend their unbeaten start to the Premier League season when they travel to face Newcastle at St James’ Park.

Mikel Arteta’s side were on the receiving end of a similar scoreline at West Ham, going down 3-1 after Martin Odegaard netted a consolation goal deep into stoppage time.

30 mins prior to kickoff: This really does feel like a big chance for Kair Havertz to prove his worth after a fairly underwhelming start to life at Arsenal. Odegaard’s status as the team’s main attacking midfield playmaker has made it feel like the Germany international has been shoehorned in at times. But with Jorginho and Declan Rice providing a solid base behind him and an attack lacking the injured Gabriel Jesus ahead of him, it’s time to shine for the former Chelsea man.
