Paris Field was introduced on Below Deck season 11 this week, and she revealed she dated Below Deck alum Jake Foulger. After Cat Baugh decided to leave the season early following issues back home and not fitting in with the crew, Chief Stew Fraser Olender had to hire a new stew to help with their workload. While Xandi Olivier and Barbie Pascual have been doing a great job, Fraser, and the ladies, can’t do it just themselves. Captain Kerry Titheradge found Fraser the perfect stew for the team as they struggled during their last two charters without a fourth stew.

That’s when Paris arrived and was introduced on Below Deck season 11. Viewers met Paris during last night’s brand new Below Deck season 11 episode when the crew had their regular nights out post-charter. Fraser immediately knew exactly who she was, Jake’s former girlfriend. He and Jake worked together during Below Deck season 9 and Fraser revealed he met Paris over FaceTime while on a charter with her ex. Paris was so excited to see Fraser, as she felt she had an ally onboard right away. She and Fraser could be a dynamic duo unlike her and her ex, Jake.

It’s Unclear How Long Jake & Paris Were In A Relationship

Neither Jake nor Paris revealed how long the two dated for or when they started dating. They were together while Below Deck season 9 was being filmed, which was early 2021. However, Jake never said on the show when he and Paris started their relationship. The two must have been together for quite some time, as they were engaged when Jake filmed season 9.

While this is not confirmed, Jake and Paris likely met while working in the yachting industry together. Paris said she worked as a sole steward in Perth, Australia, and from what is known about Jake and his career, he works as a deckhand, at least he did as of his time on Below Deck. They truly were a match made in yachting heaven.

Jake & Paris Were Engaged

During Below Deck season 9, Jake revealed that he and Paris were engaged. However, it didn’t seem like the two entered into this potential marriage for the right reasons. Jake said several times during Below Deck season 9 that he was only with Paris for a green card–Paris is from Australia, while Jake is from London, United Kingdom. He revealed on the show that Paris wanted a green card to live in London; however, Pairs has not confirmed this so far on Below Deck season 11. Nonetheless, it seems the pair broke up shortly after Jake returned from filming, as they are no longer together.

Jake & Paris Broke Up

“I don’t have any serotonin or any happiness left so I just wanna stir the pot.”

Jake and Paris broke up shortly after Jake filmed Below Deck season 9. Neither of them confirmed the end of their relationships online, but Paris does refer to Jake as her ex in Below Deck season 11. It’s possible Paris had stronger feelings for Jake than he let on in the show, as Paris seems jaded from past life experiences. She did say during one of her confessionals in Monday night’s episode, “I don’t have any serotonin or any happiness left, so I just wanna stir the pot and regain some of that happiness back through people’s suffering. That’s not really true. I’m not evil. I promise.”

What Happened To Jake After Below Deck?

After Jake left Below Deck season 9, not much was heard of him; in fact he didn’t even appear at the reunion special. However, Jake did reveal why he didn’t show up for the reunion. During a Q&A two years ago, Jake said he wasn’t at the reunion because he had “broken his brain.” Jake was clearly referring to some mental health struggles he had been dealing with, which he briefly touched on during Below Deck season 9. Jake has been truly focusing on himself and his mental well-being since departing the Bravo series. Ending his relationship with Paris was likely part of it.

According to Jake’s Instagram, the deckhand doesn’t seem to be working in the yachting industry anymore. A majority of his photos of him are in London, which is his stomping grounds. His most recent post is the one above, from March 24, a carousel of photos of Jake and his friends. In a couple of the photos, Jake is getting cozy with an unknown woman. She isn’t tagged or anything, so it’s unclear if she is just a friend or Jake’s significant other. Jake even has a picture with Fraser from October 2023, wishing the chief stew a happy birthday.

What Is Paris Doing Now?

As for Paris, she is currently starring in Below Deck season 11 as the new fourth stew. She joined the team after Cat abruptly left the boat following issues back home. So far, Paris seems like the perfect fit for Below Deck. She’s witty, fun, a team player, and clearly loves to stir the pot; she did say so herself. While not much has been shown of Paris on Below Deck, she already seems like the perfect addition. However, when she’s not filming Below Deck, Paris spends most of her time in Mexico or traveling the world.

According to Paris’ Instagram page, Paris is quite the globe trotter. She was recently in places such as London, The Philippines, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. However, in 2021, Paris did spend most of her time in Mexico. There more to come from Pairs on Below Deck and her traveling adventures this year.
