Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. decided to abandon his run in the Democratic primary and will instead run as an independent candidate. Now both Democrats and Republicans are worried as to how this decision could swing voters away from either candidate during the election, potentially favoring one over the other.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Ca.) made comments during Hugh Hewitt’s syndicated radio program that he was willing to be reinstated as Speaker of the House if that’s what Republican lawmakers want.
