PlayStation thankfully made it a simple process to upgrade to The Last of Us Part II Remastered. If you bought the PS4 version of The Last of Us Part II digitally, you’ve got it the easiest — just head to the Remastered store page on the PlayStation 5 console where you bought the original game, and select the upgrade option. That’s it, you’re good to go. If you bought the physical disc version of the base game, you’ll need to insert the disc into your PS5, then go to the store page and grab your upgrade. Just note that you’ll have to insert that PlayStation 4 disc into your PS5 every time you want to play The Last of Us Part II Remastered going forward. Unfortunately, if you got the disc version of the base game and don’t have a PlayStation 5 with a disc drive, you’re out of luck and you’ll just have to buy a new copy of Remastered.
