TikTokers Share Crazy Hotel Room Tours!

TikTok | Samantha Mac

The last thing anyone wants when staying in a hotel room while away from home is a strange vibe, unexplainably placed tub or toilet, or something that makes you wonder just what’s going on.

TikToker Samantha Mac shared a hotel room she recently stayed in that had some strange features that could use some explanation.

“This is the weirdest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in,” she said as she stood inside the room up against the door. She then gave a little tour from the POV of entering the room.

To the right, there was some strange storage and a television in an unusual spot that’s not in view from the bed. Across from the television, near the door, is one singular chair and a lamp “that doesn’t turn on.”

Not far from the useless lamp and one chair is a bed on top of a platform. You have to step up to get on the bed, but it appears that it’s not too far off of the floor. At the end of the bed is written, “All people are multi-dimensional.”

On the other side of the bed are the windows and a long desk with a slanted garbage can under it. And this isn’t even the weirdest part of the room!

The ‘Bathroom’ Area Is Awkwardly Placed

The bathtub is literally in the middle of the room, not far from the end of the bed. And while there is a shower curtain on both sides, there’s a strangely positioned mirror in front of the tub near the windows and no shower curtain. So even if you use the shower curtains on both sides, everyone in the room can still watch you shower thanks to the vulnerable end of the tub and mirror.

“I don’t really understand. You got the shower and then you get in the shower and just stare at yourself naked apparently,” she said. “Because it doesn’t close this way. And then also everyone can see you shower.”

She then showed the sink that’s halfway off the counter and the toilet, which, just like the shower, is oddly placed in the room.

“And then you have just a really long hallway and a toilet,” she said. “And that’s it.”

Many viewers had things to say about the strange layout of the hotel room.

“The tub touching the carpet is A CRIME,” one person wrote. Another said, “I wasn’t prepared for the toilet alley.”

One viewer summed it up by sharing, “It’s like 50 people argued over their vision of the room and this was the compromise.”

If You Think That Room Was Odd, Wait Until You See This One!

TikTok | Tyler Nicholas

Just when you thought you saw it all, Tyler Nicholas shares a hotel room that really has people shaking their heads.

He first shows where the bed is and says it gets five stars. Then he pans over a few feet from the bed where you see the bathtub and then, just beyond that, closer to the door, is the toilet, partially out in the open.

“Say you’re laying here with your hot date, and you have to use the bathroom,” he said.

He then shows that the toilet is behind a glass door where the bottom is clear so you can see feet and some big gaps in the door.

“Also, the toilet has a controller. It’s one player and two player,” he comically said. “I don’t know how two player works. That’s wild. Also, this toilet is a smart toilet.”

He then showed the sink and how close to the edge the water comes out of the faucet. “No matter what you do, the water goes out,” he said as he demonstrated.

Only Cold Showers And Hot Baths!

@tattoosbytyler_st I stayed at the Pasadena hotel and pool for the last few days and it was interesting. Beautiful hotel, but very odd room layout. I wouldnt feel comfortable staying with someone here because you have to basically use the bathroom in front of each other lol I did really like the tub the in the room. That was cool. But you need privacy to poo my doods. #hotel #pasadenacalifornia #hotelroom ♬ original sound – Tyler Nicholas

As if the toilet and sink issues weren’t enough, Tyler said you have two options for bathing – a cold shower or a steaming hot bath.

“This shower. Only super cold water. Nothing but cold,” he explained. “This tub. Nothing but scalding hot water. I’m not sure why. So, I took a shower in here (pointing to the tub), elf style.”

The room also boasts a super uncomfortable looking “banana couch.”

“It’s just an odd hotel room,” he said. “This is Pasadena Hotel and Pool in Pasadena.”

One viewer joked, “That’s basically a sound chamber built acoustically to amplify ‘noises’ around the hotel room,” to which Tyler responded, “Haha dude it’s like an amphitheater.”

A Free Hotel Stay… With A Serious Catch!

There is a hotel that will let you stay for free, but there’s one serious catch.

“You can stay in this hotel room for free,” a video by DrewHacks explains. “The only problem is your walls are all glass, and the room is in the lobby of the hotel, so people can see you all the time.”

The content creator stayed in the room so he could share what it was like. He said his first impressions were “great.” But then things took a turn.

“You get a fancy bed, a table, and a normal bathroom with real walls,” he said. “I even ordered room service for lunch. But just because you’re eating doesn’t mean people are going to stop taking pictures of you.”

People just stood around watching him as if it was some sort of show. He said he felt like an “animal in the zoo,” which seems like a totally reasonable analogy.

“And when I started to sleep, some people tried waking me up,” he continued. “But when they did leave me alone, I realized the lights never turn off, and music plays in the lobby all night.”

Despite all of that, he recommends this experience.

One viewer had a solution to people staring and said, “I would just stay in the bathroom.” A lot of other people suggested the same thing.

Another person suggested, “Bring something to cover up the glass.”
