Tom Brady might be known as the GOAT on the football field, but at his Netflix roast on May 5, his greatest strength was withstanding all the jabs thrown at him. But some jabs might have hit a little too close to the vest.

Brady’s Ex Posts About Loyalty
On May 6, Brady’s ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, shared a cryptic message to her social media.
“Loyal people take s— more personal because they never would have did that s—- to you,” she shared, along with the caption, “So true.”

Messy Split Was Subject Of Roast Jokes

Speculation about what Moynahan may have been referencing grew since Moynahan and Brady’s relationship was the subject of jabs at the roast. Comedian Nikki Glaser took aim at Brady for leaving Moynahan while she was pregnant with their son, Jack, now 16.
“But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long. You retired, then you came back and then you retired again. I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend, it’s tough,” she said during the roast.
“Hey, to be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant, he just thought she was getting fat,” she quipped.
Later, Will Ferrell also took aim at Brady’s relationship with Moynahan.

“The last time this guy went truly deep, he ended up paying child support to Bridget Moynahan,” he said, while in character as Ron Burgundy from “Anchorman.”
Those are not the only jabs that ruffled feathers that night, as Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, was reportedly upset at some of the jokes taking aim at their marriage.

Moynahan Announced Pregnancy After Splitting With Brady

Moynahan, 53, and Brady, 46, were first linked back in 2004. At the time, Moynahan was an actress, perhaps best known for her role as Natasha on “Sex and the City.” Brady was the handsome quarterback who had just been named MVP of the 2004 Super Bowl with the New England Patriots. The two dated for a few years before splitting in late 2006.
A few months after their split, Moynahan announced her pregnancy. Brady, however, had already moved on with supermodel Bündchen, whom he would eventually marry and have two children, Benjamin, now 14, and Vivian, now 11, with. Brady and Bündchen split in October of 2022.

Moynahan Said Split Was ‘Tough And F—– Up’

Moynahan discussed the complicated split in 2008 in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“I’m not sure anyone—and I could be wrong in this—grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom,” she said.
“Going through that traumatic time of being heartbroken and then being pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just knocked the wind out of me. But I got so much out of that. It’s golden and it’s tough and it was f—– up. But now I have a child, and it’s the best thing in the world,” the “Coyote Ugly” actress said.
Brady And Moynahan Coparent Amicably
Despite Moynahan’s cryptic post, the former couple appear to have a healthy coparenting relationship. In 2022, Moynahan even shared a post expressing her pride in her ex.
“So proud of @tombrady. Yesterday and today and I know you will do great things tomorrow. Looking forward to the next steps,” she said after he announced his retirement from football. Brady has also shared photos of himself and Moynahan with their son.
