Taylor Swift has a fan in Travis Kelce‘s dad Ed.
As things seem to be getting more serious between the 33-year-old “Cruel Summer” superstar and the 34-year-old Super Bowl winner, we’ve gotten interviews from various people associated with them.
Ed is now speaking out for the first time, and he’s revealing some things about the global icon that surprised him.

“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Ed told People. “We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”
Her behavior was not what he expected: “And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”
He ultimately described Taylor as “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman” and noted that she was “very smart.”
Travis has also discussed introducing the pop star to his mom and dad. His mom Donna even revealed what she thought about Taylor and their relationship.
