(Reuters) – Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Thursday he had canceled a press convention scheduled for subsequent week to launch a report into the 2020 election in Georgia, saying his attorneys would put his arguments in court docket filings as an alternative.

Trump stated earlier this week that he would maintain the press convention on Monday to launch an in depth, 100-page report into what he described as “election fraud” within the state of Georgia throughout the 2020 election he misplaced to Democrat Joe Biden.
