Xbox Free Play Days Include Assassin’s Creed Mirage

The holiday weekend is fast approaching and Microsoft has revealed a quartet of games that are getting a free trial on Xbox consoles over the weekend beginning March 28, 2024. The four Xbox Free Play Days games include Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Cyberpunk 2077, both of which will only be available to play for a limited time.

The four games available through the latest Free Play Days weekend are Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Cyberpunk 2077, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Black Desert. All of these are available until 11:59 pm PDT on March 31.

All Xbox players can try Assassin’s Creed Mirage without the need for Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate memberships. The latest game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise goes back to basics as Basim progresses from street thief to master assassin in ninth-century Baghdad. While the entire game will be available, the trial only offers two hours of playtime to get as far as possible.

Cyberpunk 2077 is also available for all Xbox players, this time offering five hours of playtime to try everything the game has to offer. This includes the base game as well as all previous updates, such as Update 2.0 with new features like vehicle combat and a new police system, and Update 2.1‘s functioning metro system.

The remaining two games require players to have an Xbox Game Pass Core and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. On the plus side, neither of these trials are time-restricted.

Those who wish to continue playing after the trial period ends can purchase the games and continue from where they left off as all progress, unlocks, and achievements are carried over. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Black Desert, and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker are all discounted over the weekend.
