AMC’s beloved messy vampire drama will soon return for second bites. In season two of Interview with The Vampire, Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) continues to recount his life story to Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian)— but this time, with his partner Armand (Assad Zaman) chiming in.

Why Are Vampires Associated With Queerness?

Season two will delve deeper into their journey meeting at the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, along with Claudia (Delainey Hayles)—and how their love affair in the wake of Louis’ escape from the grip of his maker, Lestat (Sam Reid), will unleash a fury like no other from the scorned lover.

Readers of the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles know you can’t keep a determined vampire down, so of course we’ll see Lestat trail his immortal children to Europe. Louis has to confront not only his romantic relationships but his familial one with Claudia, as the old vampires encroach on their found family in ways that could tear them apart.

Watch the trailer for an extended look at what’s coming soon on Interview With The Vampire.
