Jimmy Kimmel is back on air and has decided to ring in the year’s show by taking shots at his perceived nemesis, Aaron Rodgers.
The media personalities have been going head to head for years, with the NFL star taking things up a notch by accusing Kimmel of spending time with Jeffrey Epstein. The latter vehemently refuted these claims, and thanks to the now-released Jeffrey Epstein’s list, he has evidence to back his innocence.
Jimmy Kimmel Labels Aaron Rodgers A ‘Hamster-brained Man’ Over False Claims
The first 2024 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” captured the host slamming Rodgers for making false claims about his connection to the infamous sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Earlier this month, the New York Jets quarterback implied Kimmel was among the names listed on the late convict’s flight log.
Unfortunately for Rodgers, he owes Kimmel a big apology for his false claims, as the entertainer’s name is nowhere to be found on the infamous list. Not one to miss the opportunity to shame his nemesis, the late-night talk show host proudly celebrated his victory in his opening monologue.
Kimmel believed Rodgers’ arrogance stemmed from his successful NFL career, which made him see himself as an “extraordinary being.” However, being physically gifted did not equal book smart, in the host’s opinion.
“He thinks that because God gave him the ability to throw a ball, he’s smarter than everyone else. The idea that his brain is just average is unfathomable to him. We learned, during COVID, that somehow he knows more about science than scientists.” the TV personality said, adding:
“This hamster-brained man thinks he knows what the government is up to because he’s a quarterback doing research on YouTube and listening to podcasts. Aaron Rodgers is too arrogant to know how ignorant he is. They let him host Jeopardy! for two weeks, and now he knows everything.”
Kimmel noted that Rodgers’ false claims affected his personal life as it got several people believing he was “meeting up with Tom Hanks and Oprah once a week at Shakey’s to eat pizza and drink the blood of children.”
Nonetheless, he accepted part of the blame for the quarterback’s lies, stating it may have been his way of retaliating against a 2023 joke. Last February, Kimmel teased Rodgers for theorizing that the viral UFO sightings were fake and being used to distract people from Epstein’s list.
“He saw that and, maybe to retaliate, he decided to insinuate that I am a pedophile. This is how these nuts do it now — if you don’t like Trump, you’re a pedophile. It’s their go-to move,” Kimmel said before stressing that Rodgers’ actions were wrong.
“Saying someone is a pedophile isn’t an opinion — nor is it trash talk. Sorry, Pat McAfee,” he continued, referencing the podcast host on whose show Rodgers made false claims.
Kimmel continued blasting the athlete, noting that while he made jokes about other celebrities, he never told lies to support his narrative. “And when we do get something wrong, which happens on rare occasions, you know what I do? I apologize for it,” the TV host declared, adding:
“Which is what Aaron Rodgers should do. Which is what a decent person would do. But I bet he won’t. I’ll accept his apology and move on — but I bet he won’t do that.”
After repeatedly slamming Rodgers, the talk show host concluded his criticisms with the joke, “I want to say congratulations to Aaron Rodgers, who did the impossible: He made the New York Jets look even worse.”
