A Microsoft outage has affected Bing, Copilot, DuckDuckGo, and ChatGPT.

According to DownDetector (which shares Mashable’s parent company Ziff Davis), outage reports for DuckDuckGo and Bing surged around 1 am ET and have stayed high all morning. Microsoft is aware of the outage and is “working to isolate the cause of the issue,” said the company in a post on X.

The Bing.com site and Copilot features that require internet search are rendering error or blank pages. The DuckDuckGo browser and ChatGPT’s internet browsing feature which use the Bing API is also showing errors for users. DuckDuckGo and OpenAI have both confirmed the outage and are investigating the issue.
