Whitney Cummings is getting real about her postpartum body. The 41-year-old comedian took to Instagram on Thursday to share a pic of herself naked, save for a pair of skin-tight shorts, days after giving birth to her first child.
Cummings covers her breasts with her hands in the photo, while her shorts show off the belly she has remaining since welcoming her son.
“Down boys! Something nobody told me about giving birth is that you stay looking prego for a bit, then your body changes every 5 minutes after that,” Cummings wrote, before expressing thanks for her “postpartum shorts that keep everything from falling out.”
In February, Cummings appeared on the Today show and revealed that she was considering having a child this year after freezing her eggs.
She announced her baby on the way four months later by sharing a pic of herself playing with her pup.
“In these pix I am with child. And there’s a baby in me too,” she wrote. “Human pup coming December. All tour dates in 2023 still happening I just may fall over a couple times.”
That same month she revealed that she was expecting a son.
The little one made his arrival in December, and Cummings announced the happy news with a pic of herself breastfeeding.
“3-D printed a human,” she captioned the shot. “Enjoy me never having brushed hair again.”
Cummings’ pregnancy announcement didn’t include additional information regarding her newborn son’s name or when she gave birth.
